THE TAMIMI GROUP

The Tamimi Group,founded in1953 by Ali A.Tamimi, is  wholly owned by the Tamimi family. In 1986 the Group reorganised, streamlining its operations and enhancing the skill base of the 6,000 employees deployed throughout the many companies in the Group.
The functions of recruitment ,purchasing,estimating and plant and vehicle maintenance have been centralised; accountancy and cost control procedures have been standardized throughout, making possible the central monitoring of performance and profitability on an ongoing basis; and insurance cover has been consolidated from many policies into a handful only.
These measures have dramaticaly reduced costs by de-duplicating overheads and have boosted performance by facilitating the efficient deployment of the Group's considerable material and human resources.
